Audio Extractor privacy policy

Audio Extractor extracts audio from selected videos as MP3, WAV or browser-verified M4A.

Data processing

The browser workspace reads video content, names, sizes and durations. Chrome's chrome.storage.local keeps format, bitrate and schema settings (audioExtractor.v1) and rating-prompt timestamps, dismissal and response state (audioExtractorRatePrompt).

Retention and deletion

Removing a file releases its previews and result; closing the workspace ends the session. Preferences and rating records remain until extension storage is cleared; downloaded files are managed separately by Chrome and the operating system.

Analytics

The welcome page and the hosted goodbye and rating pages carry analytics used to count installs and removals by country.

Optional feedback

Ratings of 1-3 stars open the rating page; 4-5 open Chrome Web Store reviews once configured. Chrome may open the goodbye survey after removal. Optional submissions include the chosen reason, comment, extension version and interface language; comments reach the publisher through Telegram, while comment-free submissions become counts.

Use and rights

Data is not sold, transferred for unrelated purposes, or used for advertising or lending. Data use follows the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including Limited Use.

Where applicable, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability, object, withdraw consent, and complain to a supervisory authority, without discrimination.

Children

This tool is not directed at children under 13.
